MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to change lives in communities through educational support, community outreach, and health and wellness education. Our work incorporates youth leadership development and investing in efforts that impact entire communities.

VISION STATEMENT

Having been blessed, we believe it is particularly important to give back to our communities, especially the ones in which we live, work, and play. It is our goal to assist as many people as possible in accessing community programs and organizations.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANTS

The Paul Millsap Foundation provides scholarships for high school seniors, undergraduates, and postgraduates. Our selection process is rigorous, as the Board of Directors meticulously assesses applicants based on specific criteria, which include volunteerism, financial need, and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Scholarship recipients are individuals who demonstrate exceptional academic achievements and a strong commitment to social responsibility.

Furthermore, beyond scholarships, we also grant support to a diverse range of 501(c)3 community outreach programs that align with our core values. We welcome applications annually from February 1 to May 15, and notification letters are distributed by June 30th each year. SCHOOL RESOURCES

Each year, more and more elementary and middle school students start the school year with less than enough supplies to thrive. The Paul Millsap Foundation fills this gap by supporting and funding special back-to-school efforts with partnerships developed within the Colorado, Utah, Georgia, Louisiana areas, and near-future plans to extend this support across the country as well.

Our foundation team creates fun and engaging back-to-school events for students and families that not only provide school supplies and materials, but also necessities including toiletries, a haircut voucher, and a comprehensive vision assessment. We also provide learning sessions and workshops for parents

BASKETBALL PROGRAMS

BASKETBALL CAMPS

The Paul Millsap Basketball Camp offers more than 100 students the chance to acquire basketball skills and character development guidance from NBA athletes and skilled youth coaches. Over 80% of participating student-athletes are awarded scholarships, allowing them to attend the camp and access all its resources without financial burden.

BASKETBALL SPONSORSHIPS

Basketball provides a valuable arena for student-athletes to develop vital character traits such as courage, discipline, leadership, integrity, empathy, and teamwork. Acknowledging the significance of these life skills, the Paul Millsap Foundation commits its resources to bolster high school, AAU, HBCU, and other college and university basketball programs. We extend equipment donations and grants to enhance these initiatives, benefiting many student-athletes. GOLF PROGRAMS

Paul Millsap is the first-ever PGA Works Ambassador. As a PGA Works Ambassador, Paul’s role is to help promote the flagship platform, PGA Works, the inclusion platform under PGA Reach, which is strategically designed to diversify the golf industry's workforce. PGA Works’ commitment leverages fellowships, scholarships, career exploration events, and PGA Works Collegiate Championship to inspire and engage talent from diverse backgrounds. 

Focused on engaging an inclusive demographic of participants, with consideration to gender, age, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, disability and Veteran status, the Paul Millsap PGA WORKS Fellowship, funded by the Paul Millsap Foundation, is designed to prepare an individual from a diverse background an opportunity to ascend to an employment position within the golf industry.
