John Millsap a native of Louisiana, played 12 years professionally in NBA summer leagues, D League, CBA, Europe and Latin American countries. Currently retired, John serves a life after basketball role as General Manager of CORE4 Academy, where he manages all aspects of overseeing daily operations of the organization, including strategic planning and coordinating the development of key performance goals.

Academically, John was rewarded basketball scholarships to Navarro JC, Texas-San Antonio and later finished his B.S.B degree in business. After graduating, he developed skills of strategic thinking, negotiation, conflict management, team-building and interpersonal skills.

A big believer in giving back, John chose this role with a saying in mind by Denzel Washington,

“At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you have accomplished...it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.”
